CALENDAR

A program for interconverting  dates in a variety of calendars

With this program you can enter a date in any one of 12 calendars and display the date in all of the others.  It also display the day of the week and whether the moon is full or new and whether the day is the spring equinox.

 English ecclesiastical

You can also display an almanac (which shows festivals) for any year for several of these calendars, or a calendar for a year which gives the day of the week for every day of every month of a year.  The conversions, almanacs and calendars can be saved to a file or printed.

SETUP.EXE 

CALENDAR for Windows requires Microsoft Windows 3.1 or a later version. Any machine running this environment should be suitable.

Once you have downloaded CALENDAR.EXE, you must install it; to do this, run the program SETUP.EXE from Windows. You will be asked to confirm the directory to be used.

2     If you are interested in the mathematics of calendar conversions you may care to download a .TXT file which spells out the mathematics in some detail. The mathematics should be readily comprehensible to you if you have studied algebra at school.
